QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Crisis Management

Overview

The level 7 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Crisis Management is a qualification for aspiring strategic leaders within the logistics and supply chain sector. In particular this course looks to equip leaders with the tools necessary to build strategic resilience into their supply chains, in a blend of historic models and modern day techniques.

The Diploma is designed to provide learners with the expertise required to undertake a career as a logistics and supply chain leader and it also provides a sound basis for progression to postgraduate study.

Entry requirements

For entry onto the QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Crisis Management qualification, learners must possess:

  • An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
  • Learners must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course
Qualification structure
  • The QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Crisis Management consists of 6 mandatory units, making a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

  • Critical Issues: Strategic Framework for Understanding Risk and Resilience Building
  • Engineering Systems Views of Supply Chain Resilience
  • Sector Specific Supply Chain Resilience Management
  • Ethical and Social Supply Chain Management
  • Critical Issues: Supply Chain Crime, Corruption and Terrorism
  • Critical Issues: Management of Supply Chains during Natural Disasters, Climate Change and Pandemics
Duration and delivery
  • The qualification is designed to be delivered over two academic years for full-time study but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate part-time. The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials.
Progressions

Successful completion of the QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Crisis Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study towards a relevant master top-up programme with advanced standing at many universities in the UK and overseas.
