QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management
Overview
The Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management is a comprehensive program designed to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage risks in organizations. Throughout the course, learners will be exposed to a range of topics, including ISO standard ‘harmonisation’ programmes, organizational strategy and risk plans, contemporary issues in CSR risk management systems, and risk financing options available for an organization. Additionally, learners will learn how to evaluate a range of tools to assess an organization’s position in the market and prepare a risk management plan to mitigate potential risks.
The course also covers mathematical models such as VaR, CVaR, and EVaR, and teaches learners how to develop and design a research proposal on a chosen risk management-related topic. Successful completion of this diploma opens up opportunities for further study or employment in the field of risk management.
Entry requirements
For entry onto the QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management qualification, learners must possess:
- An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
- Learners must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course
Qualification structure
- The QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management consists of 6 mandatory units, total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

Duration and delivery
- The qualification is designed to be delivered over two academic years for full-time study but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate part-time. The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials.
Progressions
Successful completion of the QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study towards a relevant master top-up programme with advanced standing at many universities in the UK and overseas.
